2017 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG

Mercedes-AMG is redefining the performance saloon. The brand is turning the most intelligent executive saloon into the most powerful E-Class of all time in the shape of the next generation of the E63 4MATIC+ and E63 S 4MATIC+. Mercedes-AMG is also setting new benchmarks in this market segment with its innovative technologies.

The intelligent drive strategy raises the limits of the performance saloon's vehicle dynamics to a completely new level. Delivering superior acceleration, the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine generates up to 450 kW (612 hp).

This makes it the most powerful engine to have ever been installed in an E-Class. At the same time it is even more efficient thanks to a cylinder deactivation system fitted as standard, and thus sets the benchmark in its segment. With acceleration of 3.4 seconds from 0 - 100 km/h the new business limousine is at the top of its class.

The AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT (Multi Clutch Technology) nine-speed sports transmission is combined with a wet start-off clutch for the first time. This enabled more agile response times to be achieved. Another highlight is the completely new AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive system. It combines the advantages of various drive configurations. Torque distribution on the front and rear axles, which until now was strongly rear-biased, is fully variable for the first time. This ensures optimum traction right up to the physical limit, whatever the road conditions. The expressive exterior design, featuring a new radiator grille and coupé-style inset bonnet, underlines the performance figures. The next generation of the E63 thus offers a completely new level of sportiness and comfort on long journeys.

2018 Mercedes-Benz S600 Pullman Maybach Guard

The absolute flagship model from Mercedes-Maybach with face-to-face seating configuration behind the glass partition is now also available to order as a Mercedes-Maybach S600 Pullman Guard. As a result, heads of state and other individuals at particular risk have a highly exclusive vehicle at their disposal. The first customer vehicles will be delivered in the second half of 2017.

The Mercedes-Maybach S600 Pullman Guard provides complete protection of protection class VR9 (in transparent and non-transparent areas) and is certified for blast resistance in accordance with Directive ERV 2010. Its protection concept is based on that of the Mercedes-Maybach S600 Guard. The Pullman Guard has been designed and developed together with the non-special-protection Pullman and provides the same interior dimensions as the latter.

The protection concept has been adapted to the special circumstances of the 6.50-metre-long saloon. With this in mind, the armouring in the rear underscores the special, private character of chauffeur-driven limousines: it is not the rear window that is armoured, but rather a steel bulkhead positioned behind the seats which secures the head area of the passengers.

The kerb weight of the Pullman Guard is 5.1 tonnes, while its gross vehicle weight is 5.6 tonnes. From the outside, the special protection equipment is barely discernible, like on all S-Class Guard models. This comes courtesy of the dark-tinted windows in the passenger compartment, for example.

Mercedes-AMG is once again extending its product portfolio with the addition of a very dynamic model: the new GLC43 4MATIC Coupé combines a sporty, elegant design with the brand's hallmark Driving Performance and the advantages of an SUV in terms of seating position, interior flexibility and also traction off the beaten track. The 270 kW (367 hp) 3.0‑l itre V6 biturbo engine, the automatic transmission 9G‑TRONIC with shortened shift times and the AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive configured with a rear bias form the basis for an especially dynamic on-road driving experience. A significant contribution is also made here by the independent sports suspension based on the multi-chamber air suspension system AIR BODY CONTROL with adaptive damping adjustment. Additionally, the GLC43 4MATIC Coupé also enables occasional off-road excursions to be undertaken: the ground clearance can be increased at the touch of a button, and the pneumatic all-round self-levelling ensures a constant vehicle level at all times.

"The new GLC43 4MATIC Coupé is characterised by a high level of agility and sporty driving dynamics. With its expressive design and high everyday practicality the Coupé is able to appeal to new target audiences", according to Tobias Moers, Chairman of the Board of Management of Mercedes‑AMG GmbH.

2017 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT R

From the world's most demanding racetrack directly onto the road: Never before has Mercedes-AMG packed so much motorsport technology into a production vehicle than into the new AMG GT R. The front-mid-engine concept with transaxle, the twin-turbo V-8 engine rated at 430 kW/585 hp, the extensively modified suspension, the new aerodynamics and the intelligent lightweight construction lay the foundations for an especially dynamic driving experience. Even from afar, the exclusive "AMG green hell magno" special paintwork leaves no doubt as to the sports car's origin, having spent most of its development time in the "Green Hell" of the Nurburgring racetrack. Wider front and rear wings allow an increased track width for optimum grip and even higher cornering speeds. The new front fascia with active elements, the large rear aerofoil and the new rear fascia with double diffuser enhance aerodynamic efficiency and help ensure optimum grip.

The lightweight forged wheels shod with cup tyres as standard are likewise designed for maximum driving dynamics. The same applies to other new features such as the active rear-wheel steering, the nine-way adjustable traction control system and the adjustable coil-over suspension with additional electronic control. What is more, the new AMG Panamericana grille emphasises the unique standing of the AMG GT R. Its characteristic form with vertical fins celebrated its world première on the Mercedes-AMG GT3 customer-sport racing car and now for the first time features on an AMG production vehicle.

Mercedes-AMG continues to grow and is expanding the top end of its product range with the introduction of the new AMG GT R. "Our sports-car and performance brand AMG has its roots in motorsport and, ever since its formation, has repeatedly faced up to the competition on the racetrack. These genes are particularly prevalent in the new AMG GT R. Boasting a wealth of technological innovations, the new top-of-the-range model is proof of the close collaboration between our constructors of racing cars and road-going vehicles," states Professor Thomas Weber, Member of the Board of Management of Daimler AG, responsible for Group Research and Mercedes‑Benz Cars Development.

The estate version of the new E‑Class is all set to be served up at the MercedesCup tennis tournament in Stuttgart: making its début, the sixth-generation model is as dynamic as the tennis pros and as spacious as centre court. Innovative engineering and a compelling conception of space make it the most intelligent estate that Mercedes-Benz has ever built. At the same time, the first performance stage celebrates its première in the shape of the Mercedes-AMG E43 4MATIC.

In terms of the space on offer, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate continues to be one of the favourites in its segment: it has a cargo volume of up to 1820 litres and, in spite of a much sportier roof line, headroom and elbowroom in the rear are in turn the best in this class. From as soon as late 2016, the Estate will again be available with a third, folding bench seat for children.

"The new Estate is as dynamic as the Mercedes-Benz brand and as spacious as our customers expect. Intelligent features such as the cargo position for the rear seat backrest with its 40:20:40 split as standard allow even better use to be made of the generous load-carrying capacity," says Ola Källenius, member of the Board of Management at Daimler AG and responsible for Mercedes-Benz Cars Marketing and Sales. This is equivalent to CO2 emissions of 261 g/km. The 7G-TRONIC PLUS automatic transmission combines excellent ride comfort and contemporary efficiency.

2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class L

At "Auto China 2016" in Beijing, Mercedes-Benz presented the long-wheelbase version of the E-Class, measuring an extra 140 millimetres in length. Passengers in the rear of the saloon, which has been purpose-developed for China, enjoy the benefit of a considerably larger footwell area and seats with a host of comfort functions. The interior of the saloon is a picture of contemporary luxury, which has been stylishly reinterpreted for the Chinese market using high-class materials. Its striking, dynamic design exudes sensual purity and effortless superiority. The standard-fit nine-stage automatic transmission 9G-TRONIC delivers dynamic performance with high ride comfort.

The long-wheelbase version of the new E-Class Saloon built in China for China brings with it the numerous technical innovations of the most intelligent executive saloon, and also offers an even more spacious rear compartment with a first-class character. It exceeds the first E-Class Saloon sold in the world where both the wheelbase (3079 millimetres) and the length (5063 millimetres) are concerned by 140 millimetres. The rear compartment of the five-seater offers its occupants an extra 134 millimetres of legroom. The larger entrance clearance at foot level furthermore facilitates passenger entry and exit.

The long-wheelbase version will be available on the Chinese market with two distinct design characters - as a saloon and as a sports saloon. The saloon bears the classic saloon radiator grille with the Mercedes star on the bonnet. The sports saloon is identifiable by the radiator grille with its central star.

Design featuring modern aesthetics and sensual purity
The longer wheelbase manifests itself in the triangular windows additionally integrated into the C-pillar and a stretched roof line. This lends the long-wheelbase version an autonomous side profile with harmonious proportions that give it a dynamic and at the same time elegant appearance. The favourable ratio of overhangs to wheelbase also contributes to this effect.
The elongated bonnet coupled with a long, coupé-esque roof flowing into a sensual, broad-shouldered tail end creates an exciting silhouette. The powerfully extended vehicle body is characterised by short overhangs, a long wheelbase, large wheels and taut well-defined flanks displaying a fresh, stylish and dynamic interpretation of the feature line.

2017 Mercedes GLC Coupe

The dynamic-expressive styling of the Mercedes GLC Coupé concept was a centre of attention at its world premiere in 2015 in Shanghai. It unites the typical stylistic elements of a coupé with the design language of current SUV models. Just one year later, this promise has become a reality: the new GLC Coupé translates the design idiom of the show car, with its distinctive basic structure and stretched greenhouse, virtually unchanged into series production.

At the same time, the sports car among Mercedes-Benz's mid‑size SUVs impresses with its brand-typical safety, modern assistance systems and an especially sporty-dynamic character. The as-standard sports suspension as well as more direct sports steering, DYNAMIC SELECT and 4MATIC permanent all-wheel drive with 9G-TRONIC nine-speed automatic transmission combine effortlessly superior ride comfort with decidedly sporty agility. Two suspension variants with continuously adjustable damping are optionally available: the new DYNAMIC BODY CONTROL with steel springing as well as the already familiar AIR BODY CONTROL multi-chamber air suspension.
