Renault has introduced a new Z.E. 40 battery for ZOE. At the same, ZOE owners can benefit from a range of new connected services and equipment upgrades. Order books for the new ZOE line-up are open. The new ZOEs fitted with the new Z.E. 40 battery are made at Renault's Flins plant in France and will be available for delivery before the end of 2016.

Double the range for even longer journeys

As the pioneer of all-electric mobility and Europe's number one seller of electric vehicles, Renault has stepped up its innovation programme and the deployment of its Zero Emissions strategy.

Fitted with the new Z.E. 40 battery, the Renault ZOE now delivers a record NEDC driving range of 400km, which is twice the distance delivered by the model at the time of its original launch.

The new Z.E. 40 battery has a real-world range of 300 kilometres in urban or suburban areas, for example.

The range permitted today by the ZOE is the longest of any mainstream all-electric vehicle and motorists can take advantage of this step forward now.

The new Renault Clio RS 200 EDC, Clio RS Trophy and Clio GT-Line incorporate the advances offered by the new Clio and further enhance that package by drawing on Renault Sport's wealth of knowledge and expertise. "The new Clio RS offers the full spectrum of Renault Sport technology for immediate driving pleasure. At launch, each customer will be able to choose from three types of chassis and two powerplants. The model also inaugurates the highly efficient and innovative RS VISION lighting system, Renault Sport's exclusive lighting signature," announced Patrice Ratti, CEO, Renault Sport Cars.

Exhaust line, power output, chassis: a unique package in its segment

The new Renault Clio RS is available with a choice of two petrol engines (200hp and 220hp) on the Trophy version, mated to six-speed EDC dual-clutch automatic transmission with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifts.

It is the only car in its class to offer three different types of chassis, giving customers the opportunity to 'tailor-build' their own Clio RS The options are a Sport chassis with 17- or 18-inch wheels, emphasising versatility and everyday use; a strengthened Cup chassis with 18-inch wheels, providing the perfect blend of road and circuit driving characteristics; or a Trophy chassis with 18-inch wheels, lowered by 20mm at the front and 10mm at the rear to place the focus firmly on driving pleasure.

Alaskan is a powerful, ingeniously designed vehicle that combines outstanding offroad ability and best-in-class fuel economy with the Renault 2.3-litre dCi engine under the bonnet. Moreover, thanks to its LCV expertise, Renault provides a wide range of services, conversions and accessories to fulfil the broad diversity of customers' needs.

Following the launch in Latin America in 2015 of Renault Duster Oroch, a segment-breaking half-tonne pick-up, Renault has global ambitions for Alaskan in the pick-up market. This market accounts for five million units worldwide annually: more than one-third of the world's LCV (Light Commercial Vehicle) sales. Building on its position as Europe's number one LCV brand for 18 years, as well as on its strong footings in South-America and Africa, Groupe Renault is shifting up a gear with Alaskan which will be manufactured in three industrial sites. Alaskan launches in the strong pick-up markets of Latin America where Renault is a long-time player. It will initially go on sale in Colombia.

Twenty-six years after the launch of the original Clio, a model that has sold 13 million units worldwide, Renault has renewed its best-seller with the introduction of the new Renault Clio.

The new Renault Clio packs even more seductive appeal thanks to its lighting signature and full-LED Pure Vision head lights, as well as the incorporation of new styling details and finishes.

The new Clio delivers one of the market's most extensive powertrain line-ups.

Styling: the new Clio keeps all of its promises

The fourth-generation Clio was the first Renault model to feature the brand's new styling identity in 2012. Thanks to a full-LED lighting signature, including C-shaped daytime running lights in the case of certain versions, the new Clio continues to refresh Renault's design identity. 

At the front, the grille which houses the Renault diamond has been redesigned, as has the lower part of the grille which is wider to add an even more modern feel to the front end. At the rear, the skirt has been redesigned for additional robustness.

Four new body colours have been added (Intense Red, Titanium Grey, Pearlescent White and Iron Blue), with a selection of new wheel and wheel trim designs, plus a more extensive personalisation programme.

The Twingo GT's sporty look draws its inspiration from the Twin'Run concept car.

More power for added driving enjoyment

The Renault Twingo GT combines the inherent agility of Renault's rear-wheel drive city car with Renault Sport's expertise to deliver even more driving pleasure. Its 898cc TCe turbo engine has been tuned to deliver 110 horsepower and 170Nm torque thanks to a revised air intake system and modified engine mapping, while different gearing further contributes to the new car's sprightly, free-revving performance.

In order to take advantage of this performance boost in total safety, Twingo GT's chassis features revised suspension, specific ESP calibration and variable-rate steering. The result is sharp handling and responsive steering feedback for precise cornering and outstanding road holding. These features combine to provide drivers of the Twingo GT with affordable pleasure behind the wheel.

The 2016 Geneva Motor Show saw Renault take the wraps off the All-New Scénic, a striking, compact MPV with pioneering proportions and, in an unprecedented move, 20-inch wheels as the standard fitment across the range. It is now the turn of the new Grand Scénic to break cover and extend the Scénic line-up.

The All-New Grand Scénic, a family vehicle par excellence, comes with either five or seven seats and features a fresh approach in term of its design, including:

·         Chrome or Metal Grey accessories, sculpted forms and body sides, and a distinctive belt line towards the rear which combine to produce a fluid, elegant silhouette.

·         For the first time in the segment, 20-inch wheels are standard, while a two-tone livery and harmonious interior trim underline the model's modern personality.

Cabin modularity and travelling comfort - which are two strengths that have helped to forge the Scénic's reputation - have been thought through to ensure that the needs of families are met even more closely. A One Touch Folding Seat function allows the rear seats to be folded automatically to obtain a flat floor and facilitate loading. Meanwhile, the new Grand Scénic is 24cm longer than the new Scénic and consequently boasts extra boot space and carrying capacity compared with its sibling: 718dm3 VDA (five-seat version) for an extra 222dm3 VDA compared with the new Scénic.

The new Grand Scénic comes with a comprehensive suite of driver aids too, including Active Emergency Braking (AEBS) with Pedestrian Detection as standard equipment for the first time in the segment. The list continues with technologies from the next segment up, such as Multisense experience, a R-Link 2 multimedia tablet complete with a large 8.7-inch display and a full-colour head-up display. Last but by no means least, the fourth generation of the model can be specified with Renault's Hybrid Assist electrified diesel engine.

Renault revealed the new Renault Koleos at the 2016 Beijing International Automobile Exhibition, the newest addition to its global portfolio.

The new Koleos delivers all that is expected of a D-segment SUV:

The new Koleos delivers a blend of robust SUV cues and the refinement and features associated with large saloon cars.

In addition to a package that positions the new Koleos as the reference of its class in terms of comfort and refinement, it completes Renault's high-end range that now includes a crossover (Espace), a large saloon car (Talisman) and its estate variant (Talisman Estate), plus an SUV (new Koleos).

Conceived and meticulously thought through to meet the demands of exacting customers on every continent, the new Koleos is destined for a global audience, with sales beginning in the third quarter of 2016 in Australia, Turkey, the Gulf states and some Latin American countries, followed by China at the end of 2016, then Russia and Europe at the beginning of 2017. For Renault, the new Koleos comes at a time when SUVs are enjoying strong growth in many markets, and for many consumers, this will be their first opportunity to experience Renault in their segment of choice.

The 2016 Geneva Motor Show seen Renault present the new Renault Megane Sport Tourer and the new Megane Sport Tourer GT, just two months after the launch of the model's hatchback, GT and GT Line versions.

The dynamic, elegant new Renault Megane Sport Tourer combines an intuitive, modular interior, including a choice of boot arrangements, with the segment's longest maximum load length. The new Megane Sport Tourer GT features a large carrying capacity, 4CONTROL technology with four-wheel steering and Renault Sport signature styling.

A dynamic, elegant design

The design of the new Renault Megane Sport Tourer blends dynamism with elegance. The lowest vehicle in its class, it also has the widest track to increase its feeling of solidity on the road.

The car projects a feeling of the very highest quality, notably in terms of fit and finish as well as the chrome trim that runs from the car's waistline up to the rear quarter panel on all models. Integrated, matt-finish anodised aluminium roof bars will be standard from the second equipment level upwards.

The new Renault Megane Sport Tourer features a distinctive lighting signature. At the front, C-shaped headlights can be equipped (according to equipment level) with LED PURE VISION technology. At the rear, Edge Light technology creates an elegant 3D effect.

A carefully designed, ergonomic cabin

The new Renault Megane Sport Tourer has a fresh cabin ambiance, tailored to the driver. Compared with the previous model, the driving position has been improved ergonomically. All the high-tech features (colour head-up display, dashboard with colour-adjustable seven-inch TFT data screen, R-Link 2 8.7-inch portrait-format multimedia tablet) are designed to facilitate everyday use. Controls are positioned in an L configuration, within easy reach of the driver.

Careful finishing touches, fine chrome detailing and high-quality materials further enhance traveling comfort.

Following the presentation of the saloon version of the Talisman, Renault has taken the wraps off the new Talisman Estate.

The D segment (saloons and estates combined) amounts to more than one million vehicle sales in Europe each year, with estates accounting for 54% of that figure.

The new Renault Talisman Estate carries over all the benefits of the saloon version, while adding the stylish lines and practicality of an estate.

Racy styling

The Talisman Estate features exactly the same dimensions as the saloon (length: 4.86 metres / width: 1.87 metres / height: 1.46 metres / wheelbase: 2.81 metres), along with the same dynamic proportions, sleek profile and high waistline.

The polished aluminium roof bars accentuate the sweeping roofline that is extended by a long lip spoiler. The C-pillar and chrome-bordered side windows contribute to the impression of finesse and sleekness. The slope of the rear window adds a dynamic touch without detracting from boot space.

Easy to load

Thanks to the powered tailgate - which is activated simply by waving your foot underneath the rear bumper - the boot boasts hands-free opening and closing to facilitate loading.

The Talisman Estate offers 572dm3 (VDA) of load space up to the parcel shelf and a maximum load length of 1,116mm. With the rear seats in the folded position, that figure increases to 2,010mm, equating to a volume of almost 1,700dm3 (VDA).

Renault extended its range with the presentation in Moscow of the all-new Renault Kaptur crossover which will be equipped with four-wheel drive transmission in Russia. The Kaptur is one of the 10 new models that Groupe Renault's President and CEO Carlos Ghosn announced for this year as Renault continues to expand outside of Europe, notably in Russia.

The launch of the Kaptur in the popular, fast-growing SUV segment will help Renault to consolidate its foothold in the Russian and Eurasian Customs Union markets. The new model is the latest addition to Renault's range in Russia where it rounds out the make's crossover and SUV line-up alongside the Sandero Stepway, Duster and Koleos.

The specific needs of the Russian market were dialled into the new crossover from the very beginning of the design process. In addition to its name, which starts with an emphatic 'K', the Kaptur's dimensions are also specific, while its four-wheel drive transmission stands out as a major ally to cope with the country's harsh climate.

RENAULT'S LATEST STYLING CUES

The Renault Kaptur's design, which is based on Renault's six-petal flower strategy which symbolises the human life cycle, marks a new milestone in the brand's approach to styling in Russia and the CIS.

"To design Renault Kaptur, we have mixed the best of Renault's eye-catching design with a specific attention to Russian needs for off-road abilities, travelling comfort and versatility," said Laurens van den Acker, Corporate Design, Vice President, Groupe Renault, at the model's presentation in Moscow on March 30, 2016. "It is a genuine crossover, with a robust, expressive design."

The new Renault Scenic is a modern, assertive MPV that will be bought not only for the driving enjoyment it delivers, but also for the comfort the whole family will be able to enjoy whilst travelling.

The design and appeal of the new Renault Scenic breaks away from conventional MPV cues thanks to the new model's unprecedented proportions, the fitment of 20-inch wheels across the range and a head-turning two-tone colour scheme that is unprecedented in the segment.

True to its DNA, the new Scenic meets the needs of families. It takes the modularity that forged the success of the model's earlier generations to a new level to make everyday motoring even easier, including a One Touch Folding system for the rear seats.

Meanwhile, in addition to a comprehensive list of other driving aids, the new Scenic is the only compact MPV to feature AEBS (Active Emergency Braking System) with Pedestrian Detection as standard equipment.
