Subaru of America, Inc.introduced the 2018 WRX and WRX STI, each debuting performance, comfort, design and safety enhancements for a more rewarding driving experience. The new models reach Subaru retailers in spring 2017.

A restyled front fascia WRX and WRX STI shows a sportier attitude, highlighted by a more pronounced grille design, along with a larger lower grille opening. The WRX Limited and all STI feature redesigned LED Steering Responsive Headlights that help illuminate curves in nighttime driving. For greater versatility, all WRX and STI models now feature new roof rack mounting brackets.

WRX for 2018
With its 268-hp, 2.0-liter direct injection turbocharged BOXER engine, Symmetrical All Wheel Drive and Active Torque Vectoring, the rally-bred WRX is a performance and value benchmark in the high-performance AWD sport-compact segment. The WRX comes standard with a 6-speed manual transmission and offers an optional performance automatic transmission, the Sport Lineartronic® CVT with manual mode.

The WRX features new front and rear suspension tuning for improved steering stability and ride comfort, while retaining the car's high cornering performance capability. Subaru significantly enhanced shifter feel for the 6-speed manual transmission, with a new synchro design and reduced friction, along with smoother clutch take-up. The WRX electric power steering (EPS) was revised to provide an even smoother, more natural feel, while integrating the steering motor and electronic control unit reduces weight.

2017 Subaru BRZ

Subaru of America Inc. announced a comprehensive update to the 2017 Subaru BRZ including improved handling, increased performance, more aggressive styling and new convenience features. These enhancements continue the company's original mission of offering enthusiasts a pure sports car with an unmatched driving experience.

The Subaru BRZ, known for its ultra-low center of gravity and precision handling, offers several updates to increase its performance on the track and open roads. For improved responsiveness, stability and comfort, BRZ receives updated coil springs and dampers as well as a larger rear stabilizer bar. Additional reinforcements to the chassis were added to the strut tower braces, transmission cross-member plate and the rear wheel housings to increase Subaru BRZ's rigidity. The stability control system thresholds are raised to further improve handing. The results are dramatic enough for Subaru to change the name of "Sport" mode to "Track".

The Subaru BRZ 2.0-liter SUBARU BOXER engine receives several internal updates for friction reduction including new valves, camshaft and cylinder heads. Accompanied with a new aluminum intake manifold and redesigned exhaust manifold for increased air flow, the engine output in models with the 6-speed manual transmission is increased to 205-hp and 156 lb-ft of torque. Also, a lower final drive ratio from 4.1 to 4.3:1, paired with the standard Torsen® limited-slip differential, improves acceleration on models with manual transmission.
Now standard on all models is Incline Start Assist. This system holds the vehicle momentarily in position while the driver accelerates to prevent roll back on an incline.

2017 Subaru Levorg

The Subaru Levorg sport tourer model, which made its European debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, has previously launched in Japan, Subaru's domestic market, where it has proved popular with existing customers and created many new converts to the brand. It is available in the UK priced at £27,495 (on-the-road)

A spiritual successor to the much loved fourth-generation Subaru Legacy Tourer (2003-2008), the Levorg promises a compact on-road footprint yet greater interior space than its forebear. The car will be available in a single trim level called GT, with generous levels of standard equipment, including Subaru's iconic All-Wheel Drive (AWD) drivetrain.

Subaru's most refined interior
Subaru engineers and designers promise that the Levorg will offer one of the company's most refined cabins created, with a greater use of high quality materials. Leather-trimmed sports seats with unique to Levorg blue stitching will come as standard, as will Subaru's new factory-fit 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment, connectivity and navigation system. Leather trim is used generously within the cabin, including the door trims, on the centre console and on top of the multi-function display on the dashboard.

2016 Subaru XV Concept

Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. (FHI), the manufacturer of Subaru automobiles, unveiled the Subaru XV Concept at the 2016 Geneva International Motor Show.

The Subaru XV Concept is a design concept car that embodies Subaru's next-generation DYNAMIC X SOLID design philosophy in a compact crossover model. Its compact body features Subaru's DYNAMIC X SOLID design elements, the powerful form of a crossover, and a quality feel beyond its class - previewing the design direction of the next-generation Subaru XV.

The front, sides, and rear are seamlessly joined in the DYNAMIC X SOLID surface structure, creating a three-dimensional and solid body that is a feature of Subaru styling. The dynamism is enhanced by well-placed character lines on the compact body shape.

The design expression of "Enjoyment and Peace of Mind", the value that Subaru provides to its customers, is fully pursued within the limits of the compact crossover model body size. In the area of functionality essential to a Subaru car, excellent aerodynamic performance is teamed with the ample road clearance and luggage space required of a crossover vehicle, achieving blend of function and style.

Quality feel is raised by the "Glacier Khaki Silica" exterior color, a blue-gray new color exclusive to this concept model that evokes the glacier ice. Matte-black cladding running from the front bumper over the wheel arches and side sills to the rear bumper, together with orange highlights on the front grille, front and rear bumpers, aluminum wheels, and roof rails, accent the exterior color to emphasize the diverse character of the Subaru XV crossover.
